This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. This model kit is of carriages 23 and 26, as running on the Ffestiniog Railway in the early years of preservation (1969 - 1990). Both carriages were build by the Ashbury Carriage and Iron Company for the North Wales Narrow Gauge Railways, and came to the Ffestiniog Railway in the 1920's when they took over operations on the Welsh Highland Railway. These were originally summer cars (with half-height doors) and required cutting down to fit through the Ffestiniog Railway's tunnels. Originally with matchb
