This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. In 1932 W.G. Bagnall built an improved 'Matary' class machine for the Bowaters Paper Railway (now Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway) named Alpha. Such was the success of this locomotive, that two further machines (Triumph and Superb) were purchased to the same design in 1934. The model depicts the locomotive in as built condition, and features a wealth of detailing both inside the cab, and on the frames.
