This is a detailed scale model kit for adult collectors. Not for children under 14 years old. This model kit is based on the locomotives built by Andrew Barclay for the Campbeltown and Machrihanish Light Raiway. This railway was a 6 mile 2'3" gauge line that ran across the Argyll peninsula in Scotland. It was Scotland's only passenger carrying narrow gauge railway. Originally operated by smaller machines from Kerr Stuart and Andrew Barclay, the latter went on to produce two handsome 0-6-2T locomotives that became the stalwarts of traction on the line between 1907 and the lines closure in 1934.
