Graphene Oxide (GO) support films are one of the thinnest support films available. Flakes of GO lie across holes in a base support film to create an ultra-thin film making GO films ideal for imaging Carbon Nanoparticles where a continuous film is required but the Carbon support would result in low contrast. For good monolayer coverage we expect ~ 50-70% of the grid area to be covered with GO and up to 30% of that coverage to be monolayer.
