Exclusive to Cordings the Inverness Mackintosh Cape was originally sold by John Cordings in 1839 and worn by gentlemen on horseback, in the field or in early motor vehicles. Our modern day version has original features such as arm straps and throat tab and is as practical today at withstanding the elements as it was nearly two hundred years ago . Individually hand made in Scotland by craftsmen using methods that have been applied since 1824 using rubberised cotton. A truly unique garment, owning one is to own a piece of history.
