Handwoven pure wool and mohair rug. Woven by skilled women weavers in Cape Town. Woven from a blend of mohair and African wool, Fields features a soft veld-toned base overlaid with expressive chocolate Karakul wool line work. Conceived as a hand-drawn composition, the free-form lines recall the ease of long summer days and meandering through open fields, introducing movement and contrast with a contemporary, graphic quality.
