A four wheel, steel bodied goods van as used on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway This 1/19 scale model kit is based on a 12 foot long DHR steel goods van built at Tindharia works on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in India. Their design was largely based on the Leeds Forge wagons imported in the early 1900s but were fabricated from steel section and plate rather the originals drop forging. This kit features: Laser Cut Bodywork The wagon body is cut from 1.5 mm thick high impact styrene sheet (a.k.a. plasticard). This is easy to paint as there is no wood grain to disguise.
