This large, beautifully textured reversible vintage kantha quilt really qualifies as art! Originally hand-crafted in India or Bangladesh using layers of vintage sari fabric stitched together and embroidered in a linear pattern. The pattern is created by the layers gently wearing through to reveal the patterns below, a slow process that sometimes results in a quilt with an extraordinary artistic look to it. The back pattern is a traditional yarn dyed madras check with some ikat sections. A super soft medium weight with fine stitching, intricate detailing and loads of authentically aged texture,
