A wide chalk white field sits above a low band of taupe and grey, the join between them blurred where one was scraped into the other. There is almost no detail, only the suggestion of land under a bright empty sky. Above a bed this is about as restful as art gets, and it leaves a room feeling larger rather than fuller. It also suits a meditation corner or a narrow landing where anything busier would crowd. Because the horizon runs unbroken across both halves, this diptych wall art depends on level hanging. Two to three inches between the panels is enough.
