I have been here before. Long before the maps, before the ships — I was already the name underneath the name. I am Aegea, queen of the Amazons. They called the sea after me. Or perhaps the sea and I were always the same word, spoken in two directions. Salt-made and sovereign. Aegea's memory becomes salt and blue distance, now excavated to remind you of the relationship between woman and element, between body and open sea — between strength and beauty. Handmade in 925 sterling silver, plated with 18kt gold, and set with natural aquamarine.
