DPA DAC are great designs, especially when coupled with a Deltran capable transport to make use of their two-fibre clock locking capability. Unfortunately they are slightly let down by the poor quality crystals used internally. These introduce timing jitter which is particularly damaging in single-bit bitstream DACs like these. With this mod, you can replace the factory fitted crystal with a low jitter device, with its own onboard ultra low noise power regulator, to transform the sound of your DAC.
