Nestled along the banks of the Kentucky River, Buffalo Trace is one of the oldest continually operating distilleries in America. They use a higher corn, low rye mash bill to create their bourbon, resulting in a smoother, sweeter flavour profile. Bottled from batches of a maximum of 40 casks at a time, their bourbon is rich with vanilla, sweetness and spice, and we anticipate flavours of vanilla, caramel, velvety toffee éclairs, traces of cinnamon, and spice, to come through into the whisky.
