The Ferrari F12TDF, hailing from the company’s ‘Tailor Made’ department, was created in homage of the Italian manufacturer’s extraordinary successes in the Tour de France of the late 1950s where it enjoyed a veritable streak of wins. Indeed, the model to which these successes belonged - 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione – became nicknamed the ‘Tour de France’ in period and was rightly viewed at that time as the pinnacle of speed, style and performance encapsulated in one road machine.
