North Uist Distillery
Trading as NORTH UIST DISTILLERY LTD, registered at Companies House number SC560549.
What we have checked
Every brand here has to clear one test before it is listed at all: the company is a UK legal entity with real activity here. That is a question about the business, and it is deliberately not the same question as where any individual product is made.
- uk registered entity: Companies House record resolves, status active. Number published by the company at https://northuistdistillery.com/policies/terms-of-service. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
- uk hq: Registered office is a UK address: Bayview, Isle Of North Uist, HS6 5HX. This is the registered office, which is not necessarily where the company operates. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
- uk control: No majority shareholding traced outside the UK (50%+ held within the UK across 2 holders). Source, checked 2026-09-17.
We have only checked company registration so far. Evidence of UK employment or a UK site is the next thing we intend to gather, and until we have it we say so on every product rather than implying it.
