Trading as MOUNTS BAY DISTILLERY LIMITED, registered at Companies House number 12819461.

What we have checked

Every brand here has to clear one test before it is listed at all: the company is a UK legal entity with real activity here. That is a question about the business, and it is deliberately not the same question as where any individual product is made.

• uk registered entity: Companies House record resolves, status active. This maker publishes no company number, so the record was matched on its registered postcode appearing at https://mountsbaydistillery.co.uk. Inferred by us (§3.3), not stated by the company. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk hq: Registered office is a UK address: La Connings, Penzance, TR20 9RA. This is the registered office, which is not necessarily where the company operates. Source, checked 2026-08-29.
• uk control: No majority shareholding traced outside the UK (50%+ held within the UK across 2 holders). Source, checked 2026-09-17.

We have only checked company registration so far. Evidence of UK employment or a UK site is the next thing we intend to gather, and until we have it we say so on every product rather than implying it.
